Old Town Alexandria
Everything from restaurants, bars, and boutiques, to parks and waterfronts
Most of Old Town sits on cobblestone streets with leafy side streets and bound by the river. Shopping and eating and activities are easy to get to. It is an area that draws young professionals, young families and retirees because of the convenience to an assortment of stores and activities. A variety of apartment buildings, condos, single family row homes and some converted homes to apartments dot the area. Relax by the river, take in a museum or have a drink at the local bar.
Sitting so near the water, the parks are a great attraction. Just south of Arlington, VA, and with easy access to Eisenhower St or King St Metros, makes it easy to get anywhere. And the seemingly endless streets of shops and cafes and bars make it fun to explore. Just south of Washington DC, this area has convenient access for commuters while not being in the center of it all.
