Georgetown is right next to Foggy Bottom/ West End to the east, is bordered by the river and canal to the southwest and Dumbarton Park to the north. Just a quick walk over the Key Bridge is Rosslyn/Arlington, Virginia and jump in for a quick cab ride to the monuments only a few miles away.

Georgetown is full of nightlife and entertainment. With lots of bars and restaurants as well as a few music venues and a Piano bar like Mr. Smith's, there is always something going on. Or take a trip up to Rock Creek Park for a hike or visit to the Old Stone House for some history and books.
