A calm community with entertainment for all ages
There is a very small town feel in the village enclaves with lots of young families and older families, as well. Though popular with families, there are apartment buildings and condos located along Connecticut Avenue along with shops, restaurants, and entertainment. It is nicely positioned with proximity to major roadways and transportation into DC if you are looking for some calm right outside of the city. It is a great place to get started in as well as continue a career or family in later years.
Chevy Chase sits North of DC and in the southernmost part of Montgomery County. Its boundaries go along Connecticut Avenue and Wisconsin Avenue and it is bounded by Rock Creek Park in DC. Other cities that border Chevy Chase are Silver Spring, Bethesda, and Washington DC itself.

Van Ness-UDC, Tenleytown-AU and Friendship Heights Metros are all close by and there are all kinds of fun buildings and architecture.

Shops at Wisconsin Avenue boasts Whole Foods, retail shops and restaurants. Chevy Chase Pavilion with retail shops, such as J Crew, H&M, World Market, Richey and Co. Shoes.
Movie theaters at Mazza Galleria and Avalon Theater can keep you up with the latest films.
Sports & Outdoors:
The Audubon Naturalist Society is a place to unwind, take a hike or have a picnic -- weddings, too. Fort Reno Park has live music all summer and is a getaway place in the city.
